Damian Tondaś published a paper in December, which introduces groundbreaking methods for monitoring ground deformations with unprecedented accuracy. Traditional techniques have limitations, so the researchers developed an integration methodology combining SAR and GNSS monitoring.
The research, tested in the dynamic Upper Silesian coal mining region and achieved remarkable accuracy as well as outperforming traditional methods.
